Release note: How to work with the value mappings view
The value mappings view is a powerful and intuitive feature to streamline the process of mapping attributes. It provides a clear overview of both mapped and unmapped attributes, ensuring you can quickly identify and resolve unmapped attributes. In this view you can map the unmapped attributes simply by using a dropdown menu, which supports typing and autocomplete. By using this view you have an easy overview of the unmapped attributes and can fix them in an easy way. In this article will be explained how to navigate to this view and how to make use of the value mappings page.
Navigate to the value mappings view
You can find the value mappings view in the GS1 submenu. When you have clicked on 'GS1' in the menu, click on 'Value mappings'. The next step would be to choose the version data model and version number to get the overview.

Get the overview of the selected version
Click on the version you want to check your mappings for and an overview will appear. Click on an attribute code that has unmapped attributes and a new view will open.

Map the unmapped attributes
When you are in the overview of mapped and unmapped attributes you can select values for the unmapped attributes in the unmapped view. You can do this by clicking on 'Select value' next to the unmapped value and choose a value from the list. To make this easier you can type in the field and the list will autocomplete what you are typing. When you have selected the right value you can click the slider next to it to map the value.
