Uploading Product Data into Qmica

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to upload products, step by step in text. Below, you’ll see the same steps visualized with images.

Click the Select product id column Find and select a unique ID from your data. This can be an EAN, GTIN or an internal article number. This is important because you can upload multiple files so that the data can be combined and when updating products, so always use the same unique ID. Click the Select product name column field. Search and select a product description from your own data. For the people in your organisation who work with Qmica, it is useful to see a product name. Click the Select a column field next to the most recent version of the datamodel. In this field you want to search and select the correct GPC (Global Product Classification) or Brick code. With this, Qmica classifies your products according to the classification you use and displays the correct attributes. When you have selected the right values, you can click the Process products button and the upload will start. The dialog will view the last step, from here you can close the dialog or click Open activities to see the status of your upload. If the upload is completed, the results are visible in your dashboard.

Tip

Remove Existing Products

- Use the Remove existing products option only if you need to delete all products from Qmica.
