Release note: Overview and actions in your organization

Use the User Management section to view and manage users within your organization. This page provides an overview of all users and the administrative tools needed to manage their accounts and permissions.

User overview and management

The User Management section provides a comprehensive view of all users within your organization, allowing administrators to easily manage user roles and account statuses in one centralized location. From this section, admins can perform key actions such as inviting new users, disabling user accounts, and resending account invitations for users who have not yet activated their accounts. This interface ensures efficient and streamlined management of users, with visibility into each user's role and current status at a glance.

Key features of this section include:

  • A complete overview of all users in the organization, including their roles and current status.
  • Admin capabilities to invite new users directly from the user list.
  • Admin options to disable user accounts when necessary.
  • The ability to resend account invitations to users who haven't activated their accounts yet.

You can find the user management settings under the Settings button in the menu on the left.

Tip

To perform the actions listed below, you need to have admin permissions

Actions

As an admin, you have full control over user management within your organization. You can invite new users by sending them an invitation directly from the user management view. Additionally, you can disable user accounts if necessary, ensuring that only active users have access to the system. If a user has not yet activated their account, you can resend the invitation to prompt them to complete the registration process. These actions are designed to give admins the flexibility and control to manage user access within the organization.

In this image the three possible options for administrators are numbered.

  1. This button opens a new dialog with input fields where you can fill in:
    • The name of the user
    • The email address the user will receive their activation code at
    • The status of the new user, the options are Default and Organization admin
  2. This button will disable the user. After clicking this button the respective user can't make use of their account anymore. This action cannot be reversed.
  3. When a user is invited their activation code is active for a limited time. When the code isn't used yet and is not valid anymore this button can be clicked to resend the invite with a new temporary password.
